Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL)
Government institutions, private sector companies and Nonprofit making organizations have struggled over the years to demonstrate that their interventions designed to tackle social, economic, security and political challenges are indeed yielding desired results or outcome. At Baasham Research and consulting, we endeavor to support our clients with a range of tools and resources to help them monitor and evaluate their work, aiding learning and accountability. We work with our partners to generate the right type of evidence, at the right time, for the right people. We try to use the most appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of interventions both at activity and program level.
Our M&E support systems routinely includes the design and review of performance monitoring plans; the review of and technical advice to partners of their performance monitoring and evaluation plans; the assessment of data quality, both at the program and activity levels; the site monitoring and verification of activities and programs; conducting of baseline surveys; and methodological design and implementation of performance and impact evaluations. Baasham Research and consulting also provides learning support in a variety of ways. Through Collaborating, Learning and Adopting approaches, we regularly design and implement learning agendas while facilitating collaborative discussions to enhance learning, design, plan, and conduct learning and sharing workshops among all our stakeholders.
