In September 2022, the Baasham Executive Director met with Mr. Ahmed Hassan, the Deputy Chief of the Somalia People-Centered Governance Activity, and the organization's Senior Political Advisor in Nairobi. The meeting involved sharing updates and areas of priority, and it concluded on a positive note.
In October 2023, a courtesy call was made to the new Swedish Ambassador to Somalia, Joachim Waern, at his office in Nairobi. A lengthy discussion ensued regarding partnerships.
In October 2023, the Baasham Executive Director paid a courtesy visit to the Head of Mission at the UN Immigration Office in Mogadishu. During a lengthy discussion, they expressed mutual interest in further collaboration and cooperation, looking forward to future engagements.
In November 2023, Baasham's Executive Director met with Dr. Alhaji Sarjoh, Director of Conflict Management at the Department of Political Affairs, Peace, and Security of the African Union, at his office in Addis Ababa.

In December 2023, Baasham Executive Director facilitated a three-day consultative discussion for the development of a mediation strategy for Somalia. This event, supported by the Mediation Support Unit of IGAD, brought together various institutions focused on mediation and peacebuilding.
A meeting between Amb. Souef Mohamed El-Amine and Baasham involved a robust discussion about the African Union Transition Mission's brotherly sacrifice in supporting our country and the opportunity for Baasham to be part of the observers.
In March 2024, Baasham Executive Director Abdiaziz Abdirahman was hosted by the Somali National Association in Sweden (SRFS) to discuss the progress and milestones achieved in the country in recent years.

On May 10, 2024, Baasham Executive Director, Abdiaziz Abdirahman, paid a courtesy call to the residence of the FGS Somali PM, Dr. Hamza Abdi Barre, in Nairobi during the 3rd session of the Kenya-Somalia Joint Commission for Cooperation (JCC). The deliberations were both cordial and fruitful, focusing on collaborations and partnerships.
Executive Director of Baasham, Abdiaziz Abdirahman, and the United Nations Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General, George Conway, met to discuss how to promote peaceful elections, strengthen the democracy of elections, and establish the electoral institute in Somalia.
